Cookie Policy

Which cookies and tracking technologies Agent Ludus uses, and how you can manage them.

Last updatedApril 19, 2026v1.0

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar tracking technologies Agent Ludus uses, what they do, and how you can control them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags. We use the term "cookies" broadly here to cover all of these.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the Service to function. You cannot opt out of these without breaking core features.

  • __session — Firebase Auth session cookie, used by next-firebase-auth-edge to keep you signed in.
  • cf_challenge — Cloudflare Turnstile token verification for public forms.
  • cc_cookie_v1 — your cookie preferences themselves, so we don't show the banner every visit.

Analytics (optional)

Set only if you accept the Analytics category in the cookie banner. We use PostHog to understand how people use Agent Ludus so we can improve it.

  • ph_* — PostHog distinct ID, session ID, and feature flag cache.

Session replay (optional)

Set only if you accept the Session Replay category in the cookie banner. PostHog records an anonymized video of your session so we can reproduce bugs and understand UX friction. Inputs are masked — we do not see passwords, billing details, or email addresses.

Marketing

Not currently in use. Reserved for future use. If we ever add marketing cookies (e.g., conversion pixels), we will re-prompt you before setting them.

Changing your preferences

Click Cookie Preferences in the site footer at any time to open the preference center. Toggling a category off will delete the associated cookies on your next page load.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track (DNT) signal. We respect DNT by defaulting optional categories to Off until you explicitly opt in.

Third-party cookies

Our subprocessors may set their own cookies when you interact with their services (for example, Stripe on the billing checkout page). These cookies are governed by those third parties' policies. See our Privacy Policy for a list of subprocessors.
